'Suits for Seniors' motivates, prepares high school seniors for next step
A select group of seniors graduated Wednesday afternoon in style at Palm Beach Lakes High School. They completed a mentoring program called “Suits for Seniors.” Eight weeks ago, Senior Tatiana Fotios had low grades and no plan. “I took my GPA from a 1.0 to 2.5,” she said of the last eight weeks.
It’s stunning to think what a mere suit can do for a young man with ambition. For 18-year-old Raymond Austin, a senior at Boynton Beach High School, it changed his entire thought process and thus, the trajectory of his life.
Suits For Seniors recently suited 10 young men from Palm Beach Gardens High School. After eight weeks of intense education on financial literacy, leadership and hands on training about building a business, the high school seniors were awarded their brand new tailored suits.
It was a balmy winter night, but with cozy heaters blowing at the new Drive Shack Golf Entertainment Complex in West Palm Beach, bigwigs came out recently in full force to support “Suits for Seniors,” the ever-growing nonproﬁt that provides graduates with a free tailored suit at the end of their 8-week course
Suits for Seniors has outfitted more than 500 high school students with tailored suits and leadership skills over the last couple of years, and now, the founder is bringing that mission to even more people in need in the community by offering a place for homeless men to get free, donated suits.

Suits for Seniors is a 4 to 8 week program that was created for graduating high school seniors so they are able to be awarded a full tailored suit, tips and strategies for success in their future endeavors, and personal speeches from several professionals from various successful walks of life.
Dwyer (Fla.) football seniors earn free tailored suits for financial literacy training
A Florida-based teen financial literacy program led to a set of free suits for one of the state’s famed high school football programs as part of a partnership that aims to improve the lives of talented young athletes off the field.
Mohammad Shatara said he was never “a program kid.” He went to school, football and home every day. The same routine for all four years of high school — school, football, home. Until, his athletic director suggested he go to “some meeting” after school.
